When I was a kid (Nat Nanny)[https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Net_Nanny] was totally and completely lame, but the whole millennial generation grew up to adore content moderation. A strange authoritarian impulse.

When I was a kid my mom told me not to drink from the garden hose and that was totally and completely lame, but the whole millennial generation grew up not wanting to be blasted in the face with a pressure washer. A strange authoritarian impulse.

When I was a kid Power Rangers was totally and completely awesome, but the whole millennial generation grew up to despise dressing in colorful spandex. A strange Rita Repulsan impulse.
