Aside from the OoT and Majora’s Mask additions, I don’t know that many (any?) games could have made me more excited than this. I sunk so many hours into these three games. That said, I’m prepared to be disappointed by the way 1080 controls, and constantly thinking about how Harvest Moon would benefit from being just a bit more like Stardew Valley.

But I’ll have waves of nostalgia pouring over me any way.

I'm the other way around regarding harvest moon. Stardew valley put the genre in a new direction and every new farm-life game now follows the direction Stardew valley pointed to. I miss some pure HM games in the mix.

I was working on a HM inspired game at the time SV came out and after the hate from passionate SV fans died out, even I was pretty much forced by the community to add extra focus on crafting stuff and things like that even though it was not my idea for the game.

Also… what’s your game called? I’d be interested in checking it out.
