Curious as to what others do once they've opened their advent calendar for the day, take the door off, leave it open, close it, or something else entirely?

Personally, I've always removed them, along with the foil inside the door, looks neater and it's easier to find subsequent days. Others don't seem to agree with me on this one though, so I'll be interested to see what you fine folk think.

Doors on! Always!

This has become even more important this year though as husband has a Where's Wally calendar where you have to find the character from the inside of each flap before you're allowed to eat the chocolate. What if the character is on the front of some other flap, and you removed it? No chocolate for you! ๐Ÿ˜ฑ

I had one of those a few years back. On one day, the thing I was looking for was on the exact same door.

We struggled a bit with yesterday's and I was checking the front of door 5 just in case. He reckoned they would never be so sneaky. I knew it!

Seems like a devious way for Big Advent to trick you into leaving the doors on, preying on that fear of not finding Wally.

Or perhaps to tactfully bring the door-ripping heathens back into God's light.
