I can read some German but can't write it well. I've been very puzzled by the number of posts in German. And what does ich_iel mean??

It is short for "Ich im echten Leben", which is just german for "me_irl".

'ich_iel' stands for 'ich im echten Leben' which means 'me in real life'. It's the German equivalent of 'me_irl' with (more or less) funny bad translations of English terms.
