I feel like in the band of life, I'm playing the tambourine, to paraphrase Chris Rock.

It's still good to be in a band but I also work as a roadie, caterer, custodian, etc.

The closest media clip to express my emotion is Homer Simpson yelling "I want to live, Marge! Live!"

No right to complain with three squares, a roof over my head, and a healthy, loving family. I'd just like to have a day where I sleep in, get to go out for breakfast (McDonald's is fine), and then read or play video games when I'm not out for a walk with the dog.
