I've been a star wars fan since I was a little kid. I've seen ever star wars movie on release day since the special edition releases, before the prequels. That was until the new trilogy. I skipped the rise of Skywalker in theaters and haven't seen it yet, and I'm in no rush. It's the first star wars movie I've straight up ignored.
Shit, I even saw the clone wars movie in theater, I think I was the only one in the theater watching it that day.
I didn't see Rise of Skywalker in theater. That point in my life, Star Wars was basically the only thing I would still go to the theaters for. I did watch it digitally. I hated it, but it was a good feeling of closure. I could feel like I was done with the franchise. Every once in a while, there is still a gem like Andor. I'm not going to be the one to find out. I'll let others slog through the crap and report back on the ones worth watching.
