I've never heard of a holiday home being an Australian Dream. I assumed it was similar to the American one, buy a house and live there until you're dead.
That was what I always thought. But apparently Financial Review readers dream of having their own house, another house for holidays, millions in super, and a hefty investment portfolio. And it is not so much a dream as something they see as a reasonable expectation. How the other half (1/20th?) live.
