What a disgrace. This could have been a (rare) PR win for the NCAA, but they were like "nah, lets make the decision that aligns with our rock bottom reputation."

It's especially silly because it seems they were very recently willing to bend the rules for the Tez Walker situation (as far as I could tell, there actually was no new evidence presented by UNC). So... (tin foil hat time) I wonder if they are now acting strictly by the book to avoid conceding anything in the Michigan investigation

The ncaa represents the member institutions and is supposed to enforce rules on behalf of ad's and presidents. Unfortunately this really means they represent about half of p5 that actually has funds, so fuck jmu and co. As for michigan we'll see who has more bacon, them or anOSU

Michigan did the one thing they really care about. They compromised the integrity of the game. This impacts gambling and ads, so they are going to get some serious punishment.

Yup, again it circles back to money. Not the actual intrest of players, coaches or fans.
