I don't feel great about this. 50% retained is a great price - but TDAs performance especially in the playoffs wasnt great. We would also have too many right handed defensemen, and one defender would have to play on their off side.

Advanced metrics show that he’s literally just a power play specialist and nothing more, and even that he’s not elite or anything. He’s just above average

He’s a liability defensively unless paired with Slavin, but then we’re neutering our top d pair by using this guy in Burns place.

Hockey wise i just think this is a bad move

Off ice - I just want nothing to do with this guy. Keeping my own feelings out of it, the comment sections or Twitter discourse when he’s part of the team just turn an extra level of toxic that I don’t want to deal with.
