The cost is worth it in my opinion. The ending of book 3 is one of those endings that I wish I could go back a re read for the first time again. Enjoy :)

That's certainly closer but doesn't really help heal my soul :)

Wow I'm in that book fog. Finished this arch of the story and just feel drained. While not the best book in the series in my opinion I still enjoyed it. Going to feel rough to wait 10 years (IRL time) for the next visit to main story Roshar. Hopefully the planned novellas and possibly some hints in other Cosmere works will scratch the itch.

Shrimp and chicken fried rice. I do add some red pepper flakes to give a little spice but not much. The egg roll is just freezer section of the grocery store. Was on sale....don't just me for that :)

I'm not sure orzo would be a good sub. If I was going to do something other than grits it would be a risotto.

The grits aren't hard. Following the directions in the package but instead of water I use 3/4 of chicken stock and 1/4 heavy cream. When the grits are done I add in about 1/4 cup of shredded parmesan and 1 cup of shredded cheddar.

What makes it bubble pizza is the crust is Pillsbury biscuits cut up in 1/4s and laid out before baking. It does cause for some thick pizza.

I'm doing audio book and still have about 28 hours left. So far I am enjoying it. I would say 8/10 so far.

Haha. If only I would stop with avocado toast I could retire and have a summer house in the tropics.

I sear the chicken thighs in a stock pot with a little sesame oil. That serves as my base. I than cook down shitake mushrooms, once cooked down I add onion to soften. Next I add minced garlic, grated ginger, and dashi. Add chicken stock, water, whole garlic and ginger. Clearly not authentic but more than good enough for a Sunday night meal at home.
