I would like to underscore the alleged bit. Yes, there's a good chance they're scum, but the title just screams clickbait and I'd prefer to wait for an actual verdict.

That’s how literally every single journalist writes about crime lol. Even when there’s video evidence of a murder, they’ll say alleged killer until the conviction.

Alleged is just "don't sue me bro." It's fine to wait for a verdict, but at the same time keep in mind that a guilty verdict doesn't mean they actually did something reprehensible and an innocent verdict doesn't mean they didn't. At some point you have to examine the situation and make a judgement for yourself.

I wouldn't let my daughters hang with OJ or Cosby (in some silly world where they wanted to hang with people that old) regardless of what a court says. I applaud an open mind because an accusation isn't a verdict, but at some point you just have to decide who you find credible, while acknowledging that we are prone to bias.

According to the article, the Texas Attorney General, the state of Arkansas, and the FTC all won a sizable judgment against them. The description from the DOJ of their business also screams pyramid scheme.
