I understand the desire from the locals to maintain they ‘character’ of the community they bought into. But that is a luxury that I don’t think should be fully accommodated due to the housing crisis we find ourselves in right now. We need more houses built and not just in the western suburbs away from everything and we need to break the hearts of nimbys to do it.
