I still dance when Iβm alone.
I donβt even need music any more
Many years ago, a friend was dancing around on the sidewalk corner while waiting for the light, and asked why I didn't do that too.
I said, "Because people would probably think I was crazy or on drugs."
She replied, "But they think that anyway, so why not?"
(To be clear: we were maybe 17; I had long hair, a scraggly beard, and scraggly jeans; she was well-dressed and cute. Alas, we never dated.)
Eventually I realized she was right; so now I do!
