I wanted to watch the original run of Fullmetal Alchemist again. It basically doesn't exist anymore.
Lots of people say Brotherhood is better. I get it. But it's just not the same to me
I love both and whenever I'm in a FMA mood I watch them together. The first anime does a fantastic job with things like mood, atmosphere, lightning and music, and throws some interesting ideas and concepts into the the narrative.
To anyone who enjoyed FMA but only watched Brotherhood, please do yourself a favor and watch the '03 anime.
