Putting aside the woo of astrology and the like, which can be harmless fun, I've learned to be a little wary of the die-hards - it's not a long walk from all Sagittarius are _____ to all black people are _____.
It seems to encourage essentialist thinking that I've seen creep up on people.
Anybody that has a strongly held belief in superstition is off the "hang out daily forever" list. Be that a traditional superstition with meetings on Sundays or some equally incorrect combination of fate and astronomy.
This is essentialist too.
While it may feel that way, beliefs aren't an essential trait - they're a choice. Holding people accountable for their choices is fine as far as I'm concerned... Even if that reaction is further than I'd personally go.
