Make the espresso and pour it over a scoop of ice cream. Instant coffee addiction? I wouldn't know. Can't stand the taste of coffee.
Affogatos aren't really heavy on the coffee taste. Caffeine isn't that addictive, you need to consume it quite regularly to get hooked and coke is doing the trick way better for kids I'd say, not to mention energy drinks.
Also maybe OT but the usual reason why people don't like coffee is because they never had good coffee: Most stuff out there is burned garbage, black coffee shouldn't be more disagreeable than dark chocolate. If you're ever near an artisan roaster do try a cup.
I have. They banned me after I took a sip, and asked for a pitcher of steamed milk with a half cup of sugar mixed in. I was gonna make the coffee equivalent of hot chocolate.
Also, "they" "banned" you for asking for a pitcher of steamed milk?
Of all the things that never happened, this was one of them.
Edit: confirmed - this was entirely made up
You mean, like a latte? Mocha? Or Café Au Lait?
FYI: cafe latte: 2:1 steamed milk:coffee
Café Au Lait: 1:1 steamed milk:coffee
Yeah, more like 19:1 milk to coffee. Like I said, I was adding the amount of milk and sugar that we do to chocolate to make it palatable
"that we do to chocolate" - wut.
Raw chocolate is far more bitter than coffee. We add a ton of sugar and milk to chocolate to make it edible.
🤦
I'm not certain what you are trying to say? I explained why I added that much sugar and milk, and you downvoted and replied with an emoji that tells me that you think that you know more about ingredient preparation than a 4 star chef. I would love to hear this explanation.
I knew what would be required for me to drink the shit. Not entirely certain why you are seemingly defending your addiction to the bean. I'll make you an exquisite pot of coffee if you really need the stimulants.
You're not even short order cook, let a 4 star chef. 🤦
Think what you want, I know what jobs I've had over the last 26 years. Have fun baristaing at Starbucks after 4th block.
I don't drink coffee, and I know a liar when I see one. You don't know how to cook, and you were never banned from anywhere for asking for a pitcher of steamed milk.
I was joking about being banned. I got some weird looks and my friend told me he would never take me to a coffee shop again. It's called hyperbole, which you clearly know nothing about. You also know nothing about me or the many titles I have had at the various jobs I've had over the last 26 years. You have made multiple assumptions, which reflect poorly on yourself as, in general, people tend to assume that others are like them. Thanks for clarifying that you enjoy lying.
😂🤦 thanks for proving me right.
No snacks for poor snakes? :(
