Buy with caution. A completely unrelated company has registered the previously abandoned Mayfair Games trademark and will begin releasing new games under it.

The problem is that Asmodee abandoned the trademark so they could object but they would have no standing to defend it. Like you say though, it's kind of absurd that they did abandon it.

I am surprised that it is totally abandoned. They don't have the logo on a website somewhere or excess copies of old games in some warehouse?
