Halfway through the first day at my new job, the panic/anxiety is palpable, but I think I'll be fine. Just have to remember that not only am I starting a new job, I am also stepping out of the shift work bubble I had built over a a very long period of time.

Apparently the first 3 months of a new job are a mess. Don’t stress.

We could hire someone with 20+ years experience in the field into our team and we still wouldn't expect them to be fully pulling their own weight for about six months.
