Steve Huffman co-created Reddit. Is he trying to quash what's made it so special?

Who else here hasn't been on reddit at all since the strike? Without Infinity I really don't care to use reddit at all. I've been on .world since 1.21k total users. I'm on beehaw, and helping testing on enterprise 18-beta. Steve is just another rich idiot to me.

I'll be honest, I miss a lot of my niche communities. I recognize it takes time and patience to grow them, even more so if you dont wanna kickstart them on a new platform yourself.

That being said, I definitely have not logged in since June 12th and I'm not looking back. This is a fresh opportunity and something new for a change.

The Google searches are going to be the most painful part for me, followed by the loss of a lot of the speciality hobbyist subs.
