Again I post a death metal origin - quite possibly THE death metal origin, with heavy deep roots in thrash metal. Classic and evil, this needs no introduction. Enjoy some more history today.

Weird Venom era, but the sound is fat lol good upload!

Crossover time! Specifically of the Brazilian kind. Super catchy and if I understood Portuguese I bet the lyrics would slap with politically charged humor.

This track is probably the best thing to come out of Metallica in recent years. Channeling their thrash roots mixed with their hard rock years (like when ReLoad opened with Fuel), but this is actually decent enough. It does go on for a bit too long in my opinion, they absolutely could have cut a bit of meandering grooves here and there; the lyrics are pretty good, though.

Great stuff, I gotta pay more attention to these guys too! Also this album cover reminds me of Baroness a bit lol

[email protected] for anything thrash metal related, from the 'Big Four' to crossover to speed metal to death thrash!

True visionary Quothorn started this album off with an epic sound, a vast field with images of vikings and other glorious things, but at it's heart it truly is brutal black/thrash. This is the third track, quite the whiplash upon first listen - the thrash bears its fangs from here to the title track of the album lol. Enjoy this piece of history today. RIP Quothorn o7

This is fantastic stuff, I'm surprised I haven't ever heard of this band yet. Probably cuz they're relatively new lol. I'm definitely gonna keep an eye out for more from these guys!

My number one favorite song from this phenomenal album, had to post from this one again kinda soonish after my previous post about it lol. The first three minutes are creative perfection.

Opening two tracks from their Endgame album, a melodic short instrumental quickly leading into typical thrash fury. Certainly A LOT better than their few releases before this one!

Ahhh my absolute favorite from that album, what a banger!

Haha it had been too long since we posted something from this masterpiece, figured it was time ;D

The other old time Dutch death thrashers who definitely remain in the underground. Take a healthy does of Floridian death metal, mix it with Teutonic thrash and a little Possessed, and you get this. My pick today is their opening track to their 5th album.

Oooh yea, much better! I spose I coulda found you one myself rather than complain about it lol

Aggressive thrash teetering on death metal's toenails, with a killer guitar tone and the drums to back em up. That riff right at 2:47 will fucking send your neck into whiplash.

Good shit, shame the sound quality of the youtube is a bit ass lol

This is straight up Hardcore yea? Doesn't sound terrible, not sure about it being thrash tho.

Title track to Nevermore's groovy "swansong." Vocals still that unique style that rubs some people the wrong way. Found out the vocalist passed some time in 2017 though, R.I.P. Warrel Dane o7

I put quotes as there's really recent news they've been reformed but searching for a vocalist and bassist.

This just happen to pop up in my suggestions on the front page of Youtube recently and thought it would be a good share here, even if just for the lols.

Beware the brainrot editing, but it's entertaining nonetheless.

Aggressive death thrash today from these Dutch faves of mine. Lyrics are nsfw but would you be listening to this at work anyway?

Crossover again today! This time with a lesser known band, one whose singer will be moving on to become Power Trip's vocalist after they passed away, RIP Riley Gale o7. This bit of info @[email protected] commented on my Power Trip post, so I attribute this post to them!
