It totally is an amateurish album cover lmao

Also yea, it's the same feeling when I listen to the sludge metal band The Sword - everyone shits on em for not being original but I still enjoy it quite a bit.

Felt like a second upload today! Some unabashed black/thrash that's a lot of fun lol

Vader - Epitaph (lemmy.world)

Vader, one of Poland's most prolific death metal bands, shared here again with more Slayer worship, this time influenced by Seasons in the Abyss.

Youtube, Spotify, Bandcamp - no album but the band still linked, RateYourMusic, Encyclopaedia Metallum

You sure did, I was gonna post Desperate Cry before lol

Fun fact: snippets of Desperate Cry was played during a scene in the movie Talladega Nights!

Sick solo, and Zetro really workin the words, all understandable while still being fast!

Man I just copy-paste and click the hyperlink every time and idk why it's so temperamental, last night's upload worked perfect first try. So weird.

Also, this is the version of Destruction I'm more familiar with - was introduced to them with this album and this song in particular blew me away, specially with the homages in the lyrics: pleasure to kill and bonded by blood lol. Heard some of the latest release and it's still different again; not that it's bad, just different!

Easily one of the "big four" of German Thrash, standing side by side Kreator, Sodom, and Tankard. Teutonic thrash forever!!

Opener from the band's 2nd output, killer lyrics and a badass riff.

Bash in your skull! // Kick out your brains!

Dance all over! // What remains!!

Youtube, Spotify, Bandcamp (sadly this album isn't on Bandcamp but I'll link the band anyway), RateYourMusic, Encyclopaedia Metallum

Crazy, it's like if Exodus was speed metal lol it's pretty good!

Certainly closer to black metal than most of the stuff you post, some of the riffs remind me of a really obscure one-man black folk band Sigtyr but Sigtyr is definitely not thrash lol.

Metal archives says yes, and I agree!

Title track from Death's historic first album, with all the thrash still infused, only with more extreme themes making it death metal! 🤘

Isn't bandcamp a better way to support artists anyways? I'm all for that too

Probably my favorite Witchery track, dynamically paced and full of energy, especially love the sound of the bass.

Posting another of The Crown's stuff, love their melodic death thrash! Hear the homage to Deicide's Once Upon the Cross in the chorus 🤘

Not one too much for crossover, but this is such a fun and even historic song, being possibly the first example of blastbeats used throughout a song.

Edit: forgot to add this-
