I have inadvertently started collecting chickwn salts. I should start a database with notes. Best on popcorn: hoyts chicken sprinkle. Chippies: less salty than mitani, can be more liberally used. Aftertaste akin to a smiths roast chicken chippie.
I want in on this
The reviews or the chips? I suppose one leads to the other regardless.
All of it
Good chicken salt is hard to find
theres been a goddamn dearth of Hoyts Chicken Sprinkle for like a year and I fcking hate it because that shit is the BOMB. Not sure if it's chicken salt chicken salt, but my god it's pure fucking umami. Godly on popcorn and if you put that shit on a parma you will be licking the plate.
Mitani is good stuff, but best for things that have been oil fried as it comes out very strong on air fried stuff and it's like 90% milled salt. Chippies is better for airfried, less salt content, but you acclimate to the taste and start losing it very quickly. Frustrate. Both of these were bought at the bentleigh east foodworks (chesterville) btw.
I shall head up to woolies on Trivia night tuesday, nab all things chicken salty and continue my reports.
Nice n tasty is the one you want.
I shall add it to the list for review
