Does the camera in Verstappen's car have some kind of stabilisation? Is that new? I don't think I have seen that before. Looks cool
It was introduced 2-3 races ago.
I like it, but the halo does block most of the view ahead. I wonder if it's possible to have this tech on the overhead camera?
I haven't seen the last couple of races haha that explains why I haven't seen it yet
I like how it shows how banked some corners are, but I agree that the halo blocks most of the view
Introduced in Suzuka on Hamilton's car. It's on the left of the intake I think? The camera has a larger FOV than we see, and software uses the horizon as a reference to create a frame that rotates as opposed to having the camera gimbal.
Sounds interesting! I don't know much about video production but I supposed it was digital. Thanks for the explanation!
