There's been an out of cycle fare increase. Myki fares raising to $5 for an adult 2 hour fare from July.
Can I get an out of cycle pay rise?
Oh good. I'll be using that as a further reason to avoid the office.
I'm WFH today. We're in different teams and only say hi and bye in passing when in the office.
I have been spared their cheerful fuckery.
I used to work for a small company and we'd all say good morning to each other. No problem. One guy left to go elsewhere and wanted to know if it was OK to stand at the door and yell "Good Morning Everyone" so he didn't have to individually say it to 33 people before he got to his desk.
Best thing in that situation, be the first in so you don't have to walk around and greet everyone.
OR (this is my thing) when I join a meeting, I try to be last so all I have to say it 'Good Morning everyone'
He said by the time he got to his desk his coffee was cold.
That's one of my top 10 nightmare scenarios.
Maybe it's some hidden trauma, but someone overly chipper does not come off as genuine to me. Like morning talk show hosts that are excited over some mundane bullshit.
If your a V/Line traveller remember to use their policy of giving refunds if you have > 60 mins delay.
3 stops to the shopping centre, stay for a long lunch and groceries shopping, trip home, $10
Day trip to Ballarat. Also $10.
You know what to do.
