Have they tried to make good diplomatic relations with them?

You mean the Egypt being ruled by a US-backed and funded dictatorship? That the Egypt we're talking about?

Egypt has a unicameral parliament. With elections. They hold the headquarters of the Arab league. Are on good terms within the Arab league. And if any government was backing the current one it was the UAE. I probably mean that one.
