Iran’s foreign minister on Saturday called on Israel to stop its attacks on Gaza, warning that the war might expand to other parts of the Middle East if Hezbollah joins the battle, and that would make Israel suffer “a huge earthquake.”

Hossein Amirabdollahian told reporters in Beirut that Lebanon’s Hezbollah group has taken all the scenarios of a war into consideration and Israel should stop its attacks on Gaza as soon as possible.

Israel considers Hezbollah its most serious immediate threat, estimating it has some 150,000 rockets and missiles, including precision-guided missiles that can hit anywhere in Israel. The group, which has thousands of battle-hardened fighters who participated in Syria’s 12-year conflict, also has different types of military drones.

Hezbollah fighters have been on full alert along Lebanon’s borders with Israel following last Saturday’s attack by the militant Palestinian group Hamas that left hundreds of Israeli civilians and soldiers dead.

I have no idea what that is, but I’m skeered.

Some Arma 3 campaign plot thing where there are 2 major blocks in the world by 2035, NATO vs CSAT, the latter, being formed by China, Russia, Iran, Turkey etc. internationally, mainly seen composed of Iranian/Arabic people speaking Persian and having a presence on an independent Mediterranean Island as peacekeeping mission alternative to NATO, but also secretly testing an earthquake device to destabilize the ordinary life on smaller countries to set a precedent for going there on an "aid and peacekeeping" mission.

The closer we get to 2035, the more I feel like Arma 3's timeline can actually be a reality by then.

For the record, and with respect, I blame Miller.

I me ver payed attention to the campaign plot, but are you sure Turkey is CSAT? They’re definitely a NATO country irl

[–] [email protected] 4 points 1 year ago

Are they really though?

I'm not exactly sure ATM, but I remember seeing some map in game (as part of the introductory "news" video maybe) that showed Turkey as red along with other CSAT members.

However, I think it falls a bit wrong as well because Altis and Stratis are actually real island directly in the Aegean sea in between Turkey and Greece, so moving them well southwards to be somewhere nearer to Malta would miss out on having these islands at such a critical position if Turkey were in CSAT while the Greece and other Balkan countries are still in NATO.
