It uses Microsofts WebView2, which is chromium. Also it neither block ads nor support any extension.

But why? That seems stupid. Who wants privacy and ads shown?

It’s still in beta. Extension support is coming, it’s in the article in OP.

Ah, but it has a privacy-friendly alternative to blocking ads: not blocking ads!
