Hahaha, I made breaded BBQ tofu bites.

How did you get the tofu to look like the actual consistency of chicken? The piece with the bite taken out of it looks exactly what I would expect real chicken to look like. Does it have the right consistency? Cuz that's always been my only complaint about tofu imitations; the texture is always just mush.

See the directions I gave in another comment. Removing a lot of the water is a bit of a process but, it's what helps with the look and texture. For a these bites the texture is good. Plus, they are bites so a lot of the texture is in the breading.
