Very curious to see what others think about this.

Someone in the comments pointed out we'll also go to Oriath for one reason or another as we saw Kitava's overgrown skull in the initial PoE 2 trailer. Perhaps we'll stop by the island on our way to Ngamakanui!

I'm definitely curious if we'll return to old areas.

It would be fun to have some recurring memes in the new campaign too, a new Dread Thicket, a golden hand and some eyes.

I do wish PoE had something similar to the secret cow level in Diablo, it's been fun watching everyone theory craft and trying to find the new secret in D4.

Imagine playing in some thick jungle tile-set area, that would slowly reveal to be just overgrown Oriath.

Ever since beta, the Vaal Ruins were so mysterious - who built this, how long ago, why was it forgotten, how are it's occupants still alive? With PoE2 we get to walk on ruins of the world we know.
