I don't know because I don't understand your question. How does someone count others off of world visitors? Perhaps you could rephrase the question?
I think they mean people from other lemmy instances lol

I meant off world as I'm not on this instance I'm on another world are only people who are members of lemmy.world counted or is anyone who comments or subs from another instance counted
Ah, I might understand now.
As far as new users, it's evident I was only referring to on world users. The total number of users across Lemmy is surely much higher, but I don't have that number. I think there's a website posted around here somewhere (maybe on kbin) that tracks that.
As far as posting, I think everyone in every instance should increase engagement by posting and commenting.
