Sharing images from Voyager recently got worse. (self.voyagerapp)

Not sure why it changed, but now on iOS, when you share an image from the Voyager app, instead of just sending the image, it sends a link to the image on the hosting server. Previously, it only sent the image so you didn’t have some funky lemmy instance link being sent.

Is there a way to fix this instead of just having to save the image to my phone and then share that?

Voyager hasn't updated in a while. But I'm not seeing the behavior on Android. It still shares the image itself for me.

I’m also seeing the problem on iOS. Voyager does need some TLC and to prepare for v0.19

I only have that problem in the web app. I don’t have that problem using the app from the App Store. YMMV.
