I imagine we're going to see a lot of postings for jobs with salary ranges from $1 - $999,999

Well, that was basically the top-post when this was introduced to New York City as well. It does not seem like it has been much of a problem.

This is already live in several other states. Most companies have begrudgingly adjusted to it, posting the range and the "likely" salary. Go search job listings in Washington another state is is required in, for examples of it working.

Other companies are still not posting salary, but you can report them for breaking the law, and ignore them as an employer, as they are clearly hiding the salary for a reason.
