This is an elaboration on my previous question regarding depictions of single party communist political systems but I am particularly interested in China and how things work in their seat of power.

Looking for a show like House of Cards but Chinese with english subtitles and I don't care if its CCP propoganda stuff or if its filmed in the Koreas depicting a fairly realistic informed u derstanding of party politics, show trials, etc.

Guy below found it. In the Name of the People, its really the Chinese approved and likely assisted with financing/resources version of the US' House of Cards.

Tbh, I feel like it makes a ton of sense for the CCP to dramatize and show how things can play out for potential corrupt players. Im prolly being naïve here but I feel like its the same reason prosecutors have to disclose the evidence they have on you. It literally makes no sense for them to try and ambush you at trial, much better everyone is spared the expense and hardship of trial if you already know you're cooked and can come out with more by pleading it out or whatever.
