I'm definitely excited for this to come back on. Between this and Vox Machina, Prime has been putting out some great animation.
Can I ask, we’re you a fan of Critical Role before watching Vox Machina? I’m a big fan and really liked VM, but I’m curious if it hits similarly for viewers not familiar with the story/characters.
I tried watching CR a few times ages ago, but honestly found it impenetrable. It's such a massive time commitment that I just never had. So yeah, I don't have any sentiment for the characters outside VM, but I love it.
It’s definitely a huge time sink, that’s understandable. I’m glad the show managed to grab you, I thought it did a great job conveying the story and tone of the CR campaign/characters in a more focused medium.
I enjoyed Critical Role but was near the end of the Underdark arc when I started watching VM, so I wasn't that familiar with the story or group that much, and I enjoyed the show a lot.
I'm not a big D&D fan but I really liked Vox Machina.
