It's an old Zoolander reference - there's a whole bit where the big conspiracy is explained to the title character, and he repeats the question "why male models?" even though it's just been explained why in excruciating detail.
...I should probably use less obscure references, but it seemed like a good idea at the time.
This is a film I should have watched.
The first one's good fun, in a rather daft way, I hear the sequel is not so great tho
