Not sure if rubber stamp/bandaid tool belongs in traditional_art.

It's a paper collage

'She uses multiple copies of the same image, then cuts and pastes them to create analog collages

Here’s an article that describes her process and has lots of ‘work in progress’ photos'

My sincere apologies. I made a bad, knee-jerk assumption. Her collages absolutely blow me away! I am now a huge fan of her work.

I'll try to be a bit more thoughtful in my comments. Thanks.

That's okay, no harm done at all.

I do try to ensure the art I post is correct, which usually involves a mini research, a trip to their personal website if one exists, it can be a bit labourious, but I want to make sure I have as much accurate info as possible. It's also means I get a mini education on contemporary art, so there are benefits...

I made a bit of a boo boo myself regarding a comment in a recent printmaking cross post at artporn, where I got a bit defensive...I think I need to de-reddit myself and not see trolls everywhere :)

Anyway, I'm glad you like her work, I think she's easily one of my favourites too, be sure to stop by collage for more art, (I also have printmaking and abstract photography too)

[Shameless self promotion over]

Hi there! Looks like you linked to a Lemmy community using a URL instead of its name, which doesn't work well for people on different instances. Try fixing it like this: [email protected], [email protected], [email protected]
