This is a community for posting pictures or memes involving chubby cats (also known as chonkers). Please keep in mind we do not condone pet obesity, and instead would like to help people who do have obese cats get them on a diet and help them lose weight and become healthier.

Wouldn't all communities regardering overweight people/animals do those things?

There's lots of communities about appreciating/posting pictures of overweight people in sexual/nonsexual nature

I get that pets have no/little autonomy over their diet which makes it into a different issue.

I see it rather as an apppreciation in the moment despite their overweightness

I haven't thought too much about this so far, just some spontaneous thoughts.
