This does away with DBD’s camping issue; once HP is out, a survivor is just dead for good. It’s much more possible to completely escape from a chase due to an insane number of obstacles through the map. Some killers can follow through these, but that tends to extend the chase.
There’s always more options for objectives than there are killers, and they’re spread out, so objective camping isn’t a thing either.
Of course, there’s a lot of systems to the game, so in some ways it’s harder to find similarities than differences, but I definitely like it. It feels like every strategic option has a counterplay to it.
