Frugal Friday:

Ever since I moved in with my spouse, I've been using a spare IKEA desk chair they already owned. Pre-COVID it wasn't an issue because I only used it when the weather was bad. Once I started working from home full time, I realized how uncomfortable it was but never did anything about it.

Three years later, after sitting in it daily, I finally replaced it. I was at a garage sale and they had an office chair right up front. $25 later and it is mine. I sold the old one for $10, so all in the new chair cost $15.

As I sat down in it Monday morning, I realized this was an incredibly overdue decision. I am so much more comfortable now with a better chair; all for the price of a single movie ticket.
