We’re visiting the in-laws in Santa Monica this weekend so we won’t have our weekly pizza to post. Instead enjoy one of our recent failures, when I was tired and forgot to turn the pizza oven off before loading it up hence this charred mess. I think we ate most of the burnt pepperoni but the rest was a throw away.
That's a shame it turned out like it did. But, I would have probably knocked off the *really burnt parts and ate that new invention anyway, the pizza bowl.
The crust wasn’t salvageable. I’m sure we grabbed a couple handfuls of the extra crispy cheese.
Bummer. I think you have an idea in your hands though with the pizza bowl, deep dish style with a New York crust.
