From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Linux is a family of open source Unix-like operating systems based on the Linux kernel, an operating system kernel first released on September 17, 1991 by Linus Torvalds. Linux is typically packaged in a Linux distribution (or distro for short).

Distributions include the Linux kernel and supporting system software and libraries, many of which are provided by the GNU Project. Many Linux distributions use the word "Linux" in their name, but the Free Software Foundation uses the name GNU/Linux to emphasize the importance of GNU software, causing some controversy.

Notice how you're ignoring the machine management and selectively choosing to focus on the user management. User management might be fine with Linux, but machine management can't compete with GPOs, especially for managing Windows clients, which is what businesses are using for workstations whether we like it or not.

I left out machine management because it wasn't being talked about but I'm pretty sure puppet and ansible fuck way more than winblows. And I don't give a fuck about windows desktop management. Windows top to bottom is abhorrent and I don't give a shit about the awful tools you need to use to administer it.

Seriously - you think windows is easier to administer remotely than linux? Fuck. Outta. Here.
