From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Linux is a family of open source Unix-like operating systems based on the Linux kernel, an operating system kernel first released on September 17, 1991 by Linus Torvalds. Linux is typically packaged in a Linux distribution (or distro for short).
Distributions include the Linux kernel and supporting system software and libraries, many of which are provided by the GNU Project. Many Linux distributions use the word "Linux" in their name, but the Free Software Foundation uses the name GNU/Linux to emphasize the importance of GNU software, causing some controversy.

LDAP has been standard for decades. What the fuck are you talking about?!
It's painfully obvious that the vast majority of you have never in any capacity worked with Linux in a proper system designed from the ground up to be opensource. Ya'll need to find better projects to work on.
Lmao that's not just for AD
I only know OpenLDAP and FreeIPA, if there are any other alternatives you got please mention them
These fucking morons see multiple implementations of the same open standard and think they are all independent solutions. They are so brow beaten by windows that the entire paradigm of proper linux administration is something beyond their understanding.
