Starfield preload is available from August 17 on Xbox and Microsoft Store, while those on Steam must wait until August 30. You will need 125gb of free space on your hard drive to download the game.

Me too. Honestly, there’s so many good games to catch up on in the meantime. Although, I’m thinking of buying Baldurs Gate 3 when Starfield comes out.

BG3 was one of my exceptions. I got it during the pandemic in early access when I was basically shut into my home for a bit and its fantastic. There are some bugs clearly but a patch or two from now it'll be a solid buy. Very enjoyable as is. Most of the issues I've found are not until after act 1 which is huge on its own.

Even if you spend an hour+ in character creation (tens of thousands have, apparently), Act I is well over 10hrs long with only the Main storyline and a couple side arcs for good measure — and that's assuming you're familiar with D&D enough to not have to reload too often after combat (or during, heh). 🤓🤘🏼
