Surprised lemmy.ml hasn't defederated that instance, given the massive amount of brigading, racism and blatant misinformation that their users encourage.

lemmy.world, while much saner, does have its drawbacks. Anyone know of any similar instances that I can join?

Hexbear gives all users options to specify their pronouns, and is very pro-trans and lgbtq. Do your research before making such claims!

I don't know if this is satire or not... But just incase it isn't: no, they aren't pro trans or pro lgbtq. They purposely pick those pronouns and go around to post racist stuff, bigotry, chinese propoganda and all the accompanying junk. Typical online terrorism.

I'm definitely not a fan of hexbear, but half of their staff is queer/trans.

And I haven't see any racist and bigoted posts from Hexbear users. Care to supply proof?

Here's an image and link to their Code of Conduct, to which the first two rules are literally:

  • We are committed to providing a friendly, safe and welcoming environment for all, regardless of gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, disability, personal appearance, body size, race, ethnicity, age, religion, nationality, or other similar characteristic.
  • Do not use homophobic, transphobic, racist, sexist, ableist, and other reactionary aliases or other nicknames. "Ironic" prejudice is just prejudice.

So, unless you'd like to supply some proof, from my own anecdotal and hard evidence, they seem to support the LGBTQ community and use pronouns to show respect.
