Less of a bootlicker, more of wanting my favourite creators to be able to eat.

I don't disagree with you, but most creators aren't just going to make content for nothing. The power dynamics on YouTube are subpar. I completely support some sort of creator union, however that may work, but if watchtime on sponsor segments plummet sponsor payouts plummet too.
