The plant that went up in flames reportedly manufactures equipment for the Russian military.

So far every location hit by Ukrainian drones is a legitimate military target, unlike Russia that targets schools, hospitals, and apartment buildings.

The fact the drones are getting all the way to Moscow without being tracked is amazing. A complete failure by the Russian military and intelligence service. Before long they will strike the Kremlin.

Remember Mathias Rust? The guy who landed on the Red Square, right in front of the Kremlin? He landed there in broad daylight with his Cessna, coming from western Europe. At the height of the cold war. Nobody saw him coming...

“Within a year of returning to Hamburg, Rust stabbed a colleague at a hospital where he worked and ended up behind bars again.” Hol up

Well, flying a chessna into cold war russia was not a sane decision, either.

Not amazing, good ecm and coordination with allies that have spying/surveillance capabilities than most of that entire swaths of former bloc states.

I imagine the us is having a bit of a laugh in yet again arming the little guy and bankrupting the ussr/Russia for pennies on the dollar.

Didn't they fly drones into office buildings in Moscow? I get that it was late at night and empty etc etc but just doesn't seem like a legitimate target as you say.

Yes, the building housed the ministry of economic development, the digital ministry and the ministry of industry and trade.

There were residential buildings hit in one of the earliest attacks on Moscow.

Because the drones were shot down and crashed into them.
