Isn't that the basis of most regressive politics? "[Minority fucked over by some systemic ism] was unpleasant to me/exhibited the behavioral symptoms of disenfranchisement/had a particular political perspective due to this/was literally just standing there, so now I am an asshole. No, I don't want to acknowledge and dismantle the sociopolitical factors that contribute to lateral violence and power disparity. I want to hurt people so I can feel safe."
