Splatterhouse is a better Friday the 13th game than the actual Friday the 13th game on NES. Why'd they have to make it more like a puzzle game? π
Edit: Actually... Am I thinking of the Nightmare on Elm Street game? π€ I'm thinking of the game where you're the killer, in a house, and you're meant to find all the kids like collectibles or something.
Gotta Kill 'em All!β’
Friday the 13th you go around camp Crystal lake, trying to find children in cabins before Jason gets them. Occasionally you have to fight him as in the picture, or on a 2d plane if you run into him outside the cabins.
Elm Street you run around the neighbourhood going into different houses, I think the goal is trying to find pieces of Freddy so you can destroy him, but Iβve not played it as much so canβt really remember very well.
The only other horror game I remember on NES was Halloween. I might just be confusing Micheal for Jason since they look pretty similar in pixel form. Then again, my memory mixes shit a lot, too, and I could just be conflagrating Home Alone with something else. π
Pretty sure in Friday on nes you were running from Jason but it's been like 35 years so I can't be certain
