Summary

A new peer-reviewed study suggests that anthocyanins, antioxidants found in fruits and flowers, may counteract the harmful reproductive effects of microplastic exposure.

Microplastics, which contain thousands of toxic chemicals, are linked to reduced fertility, hormonal disruptions, and testicular and ovarian damage.

Research indicates anthocyanins help protect sperm count, testosterone production, and ovarian function by reducing inflammation and preserving hormone balance.

Findings suggest potential therapeutic applications of anthocyanins in mitigating microplastic-induced reproductive toxicity.

this article seems to be about its effects on the reproductive system which in recent time there have been some studies to indicate that is so but saying something is proven is hard to say with something like this that depends on statistics or mouse models.
