This is the one thing I don't get, the people who look up to him the most are disgusted by "The Liberal Elite"
I'm like "He's a New York Real Estate Mogul who refuses to pay contractors and spends the savings on overdone steaks to dip in ketchup, bro IS the Liberal Elite!"
The weren’t told what liberalism was, they were just told it’s their enemy. Now they just conflate it with Democrats even though most of everyone in America is liberal.
I don’t think liberal really means what you think it means in the context you said it.
He’s an East Coast wealthy New York elitist. But liberal? He’s racist, misogynist, authoritarian, tax-dodging, etc. I don’t see much anything liberal about him.
