“MAGA is profoundly corrupt, unmistakably anti-democracy and most importantly, MAGA is explicitly a Nazi movement,” Kluwe, who punted for eight seasons with the Vikings, said. “You may have replaced a swastika with a red hat, but that’s what it is.”

absolutely.

he's the guy that put a sticky note on his uniform 'vote ray guy' in support of the legendary punter's constant snubbing by the hall of fame. ray guy did get inducted into the hall two years later.

in 2012 he quit writing for the st paul pioneer press (was a great blog on the paper's web site) after the paper published an endorsement of a state constitutional amendment that would have banned same-sex marriage. he also ruffled feathers in the vikings head office with his support for same-sex marriage. i think it caused him to be released from the team in 2014, and ultimately ended his nfl career.
